Skin Tan: Easy Home Hacks To De-Tan Naturally

The summer season is back and skin tanning is the most common problem during the summer. To get rid of it could be a huge task. We all love to soak in the sun like in the summer we mostly go to the holidays on bitches, go swimming. But the harsh sun rays do more harm to our skin. And the most common is skin tanning, where the skin loses its moisture and glow to look pale and dull. 

To prevent your skin from further damage it is needed to be treated soon. You can find a variety of products that claim to treat tan and damage caused by exposure to the sun. But there is nothing like home remedies to treat any problem. And the most important about these remedies is that they don't have any side effects. And also using ingredients from our kitchen or garden is a practice that we all have seen our parents and grandparents do. So here are some hacks which will help you to get rid of the suntan and smoothen your skin. 

1. Tomato, yogurt, and lemon juice 

Lemon, yogurt, and tomato have bleaching properties that improve your skin tone naturally. Lemon helps in removing dark spots and pigmentation, tomato juice works as a natural toner while yogurt will moisturize and nourishes the skin. Take three tablespoons of tomato pulp, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of yogurt. Mix them well and apply. Let it dry for 30 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water. 

2. Gram flour and turmeric

Turmeric is an excellent skin brightening agent. Especially when it comes to tan removal from hand it works like magic and does not forget to thank the exfoliant properties of Gram Flour too. To make this paste add 1 tsp of turmeric to a cup of gram flour, and mix some water or milk to make a thin paste. Apply this mixture to your face and body. Leave it for 20 minutes and gently scrubbing it away using lukewarm water. 

3. Tomato pulp

This one is personally my favorite. Because tomato works best as a tan removal agent. This not only removes tan but also helps to get you glowing skin. Tomato also acts as a natural sunscreen, prevents sunburn, repairs skin damage, and helps in reducing the aging process. The best way to use is to take out its pulp and apply it to the face like a mask. Or you can simply take a tomato and simply apply it to your face and skin then wipe it off using a tissue, cotton, or water.

4. Papaya and honey

Papaya is not only is delicious fruit to eat but it also one of the best remedies to de- tanned your skin. And honey had an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial property which will help soothe and moisturize your skin. So to get a radiant glow and smooth skin you must try this one. To make this pack take ripe papaya and mash it to a pulp. Add some honey over it and use your fingertips to apply the mask. Leave the paste to dry on your face or affected areas for a good 10-15 minutes. Wipe the mask off using a warm damp towel.
